I think it's a masterpiece tbh but I also think it's misunderstood, it's not the romance people want to think it is, more of a summer fling or a coming of age story shrouded in a unidirectional romance. The casting was probably on point but it should have been filmed in like 2013 tbh, thankfully Blue Is The Warmest Colour's success got all these gay themed films greenlit eventually. :glam:
